Ingredients:

• 3-potatoes large
• 3-4 – Tomatoes large
• 2-3 -green chillies slit length wise
• 10-15 -curry leaves
• 1/2 tsp -mustard seeds
• 1 tsp -jeera
• 2 tsp -dhania Jeera powder
• 1/2 tsp – Haldi
• salt
• 1.5 tsp -red chilli powder
• 1- Lime large
• 1/4 cup – fresh Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
• 1/2 cup -cooked & mashed Green peas (optional)

Method:

  1. Cook potatoes, peel and crumble very finely or mash.
  2. Chop tomatoes and slit green chillies lengthwise.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Add mustard and jeera.
  5. Add green chillies, curry leaves and the chopped tomatoes.
  6. Fry well.
  7. Add haldi powder, dhaniya jeera powder and chilli powder.
  8. Add 1/2 cup water and cook for 5-8 mins.
  9. Now add the aloo (mashed, cooked peas can also be added).
  10. Add salt and juice of one lime.
  11. Remove from flame and add chopped coriander for garnish.
