Ingredients:

• Lemon size – Tamarind; soak and extract juice in 2 cups of water
• 1 – Tomato, finely chopped
• 1 Clove – Garlic (optional)
• 1 pinch – Asafoetida
• 1/4 tsp – Pepper
• 1/4 tsp – Asafoetida (powdered fine)
• 1/2 tsp – Sambar powder
• Curry leaves
• Coriander leaves; chopped fine
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Mix all the above ingredients. Bring to a boil.
  2. It’s ready!
  3. Keep covered till ready to serve (to retain flavour).
