Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Rice
• 4 cups – water
• A pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Wash the rice and soak in 4 cups of water and a pinch of salt for 15 minutes.
  2. Place on heat and bring to boil.
  3. Reduce heat and cook on low heat till done and all the water is absorbed.
  4. Cover and allow to stand for 15 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve with any curry, dal or pepper water.
