Almond Custard

Ingredients:

• 3 – eggs, beaten
• 2 cups – Milk
• 1/4 cup – water
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – vanilla essence
• 50 g – chopped Almonds
• 1 tsp – Corn flour

Method:

  1. Boil the milk and the chopped almonds together.
  2. Add the eggs, vanilla essence, corn flour and the sugar and cook on low heat, stirring constantly until it thickens.
  3. Do not boil.
  4. Top with a few almond slivers.
  5. Cool and serve.
