Ingredients:

• 1 cup – semiya, roasted in Ghee
• 1.25 cup – water
• 16 – almonds, soaked overnight and ground to a smooth paste with Saffron
• Brown sugar and 1/4 cup water
• 3 tbsp – Brown sugar
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• 1/4 tsp – Cardamom powder
• A pinch – Saffron
• Nuts and Raisins (fried in ghee)

Method:

  1. Boil water in a pan, add roasted semiya and cook in medium heat.
  2. Pour the ground mixture, add cardamom powder and mix well, stir occasionally.
  3. Add in everything else (nuts and raisins) and cook till the semiya is done fully.
  4. Garnish with fried nuts and raisins.
