Ingredients:
• 1 cup – semiya, roasted in Ghee
• 1.25 cup – water
• 16 – almonds, soaked overnight and ground to a smooth paste with Saffron
• Brown sugar and 1/4 cup water
• 3 tbsp – Brown sugar
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• 1/4 tsp – Cardamom powder
• A pinch – Saffron
• Nuts and Raisins (fried in ghee)
Method:
- Boil water in a pan, add roasted semiya and cook in medium heat.
- Pour the ground mixture, add cardamom powder and mix well, stir occasionally.
- Add in everything else (nuts and raisins) and cook till the semiya is done fully.
- Garnish with fried nuts and raisins.
