Ingredients:
• 4 – potatoes, big (boiled)
• 5 – Tomatoes (finely chopped)
• 5 – Onions (finely chopped)
• 2 tbsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tbsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tbsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 3 tbsp – Corn flour (or toast powder)
• 1 tsp – Green chilli paste
• Coriander leaves for garnishing
• 1/2 tsp – Sugar
• Salt to taste
• Oil
Method:
- Take boiled and mashed potatoes.
- Add salt, lemon juice, corn flour, garam masala powder, green chilli paste. Mix it well.
- Make a small, round tikki and press it.
- Heat the oil in a pan and shallow fry all the tikkis. Keep aside.
- For Gravy:
- Heat a pan and put 2 to 3 tsp oil.
- Add garlic paste, onion and let it be fried till golden brown.
- Add tomato and make gravy. It should be cooked well.
- Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, sugar, garam masala powder and cook it for 5 minutes.
- Put 2 to 3 tikkis in a bowl, add gravy and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with paratha, naan and roti.
