Spicy and delightful mashed potato patties

Ingredients:
4-5 potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
2 teaspoon corn flour
1/2 cup boiled green peas (optional)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying

Method:
1. Combine mashed potato, green peas, cumin powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice, corn flour and salt together in a bowl and mix well.
2. Divide into round balls of equal portions. Flatten each ball between the palms into round patties or tikkies.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan and shallow fry over medium heat until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
4. Remove from pan and drain on absorbent paper.

Cooking time: 20-25 minutes
