Ingredients:

• 1 – Apple finely chopped
• 1 – big ripe Banana
• 1/2 cup – Raisins
• 1 cup – plain flour
• 1 cup – Wheat flour
• 1 cup – Sugar ground
• 3/4 tsp – baking powder
• 1/2 tsp – baking soda
• 1/4 tsp – Cinnamon powder
• 1 cup – Milk
• 3/4 cup – Butter
• 1/2 tbsp – Lemon juice

Method:

  1. Wash raisins, drain, keep aside. Sieve dry ingredients together 2-3 times.
  2. Melt butter in a large pan, take off fire.
  3. Add milk, and gently fold in dry ingredients.
  4. Smash banana, and sprinkle lemon juice over it
  5. Add raisins, banana and apples, mix very lightly.
  6. Keep mixture a bit lumpy, and do not mix too much.
  7. A lumpy batter makes better muffins.
  8. Pour spoonfuls of mixture greased in muffin trays, or in small cups.
  9. Bake in preheated oven at 200 degree C in centre rack for 20 minutes.
  10. Check before removing, by inserting a skewer which should come clean.
  11. Serve warm or cold with beverages or cold drinks.
