Ingredients:

• 2 – Apples, finely chopped
• 1.5 cup – all-purpose flour
• 1 cup – white Sugar
• 1.25 cup – Milk
• 3 tbsp – Butter, melted
• 1.5 tsp – Baking powder
• 1/4 tsp – Ground Cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp – Salt
• 1 – Egg

Method:

  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  2. Make a well in the centre and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add the chopped apples.
  4. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.
  5. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
  6. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
  7. One can add a splash of vanilla also.
