Ingredients:

• 2 cups – rolled oats
• 1 cup – besan
• 5-6 – dried Apricots
• 8-10 – dates, chopped and soaked in 2 tsp warm Milk
• 1/4 cup – Flax seeds
• 2 tsp – sesame seeds
• 1/2 cup – Cashew nuts
• 1/2 cup – peanuts, roasted and skinned
• 1/2 cup – Raisins
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 1 tsp – ghee/ Butter

Method:

  1. Roast besan till light brown.
  2. In the same pan, roast oats and mix with besan.
  3. Roast sesame seeds and mix with the oat and besan mixture.
  4. In another bowl, mix nuts, cardamom powder, flax seeds and roasted peanuts.
  5. In a third bowl, mix together dates, apricots and raisins.
  6. Grind the oats-chickpea mix to a coarse powder.
  7. Add nuts, cardamom powder, flax seeds and roasted peanuts and grind again.
  8. Blend the dates-apricots to make a solid dough.
  9. Roll and round into lemon-sized balls.
  10. Refrigerate the laddoos.
  11. Warm for 10 secs in microwave before serving.
