Ingredients:
• 1 – Cucumber sliced
• 1 -onion sliced
• 1 – small ridge-gourd peeled and sliced
• 8-10 – ajwain leaves, washed clean whole
• 1 – Potato peeled and sliced
• 1.5 cup – gram flour
• 1/2 cup – Rice flour
• Salt, to taste
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• Oil, for deep fry
Method:
- Mix flours, salt, cumin seeds, turmeric to make a batter for dipping.
- Heat oil to deep fry. When hot, add a tablespoon to the batter and mix.
- Dip the vegetables, slice by slice and slide into the hot oil. Fry on medium heat till golden brown.
- Serve hot with sauce or chutney as desired.
