Ingredients:

• Parboiled Rice – 1 cup
• Rice – 1 cup
• Aval – 1 cup
• Black gram dal – 1/4 cup
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Clean and soak the ingredients separately overnight.
  2. Grind to make the batter
  3. Let it ferment for a whole day.
  4. Mix the batter thoroughly before pouring on to the idli plates. Steam for 10 minutes and serve.
