Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – Aval
• 3/4 cup – Sugar
• 1/4 cup – Ghee
• 1.5 cup – Milk
• Cashew nuts, Raisins and Cardamom powder accordingly.

Method:

  1. Fry the aval in 1/4 cup ghee and boil the same in the milk.
  2. Once it boils nicely, add sugar to it.
  3. In a separate pan fry cashewnuts, raisins to golden brown colour and add to the above payasam.
  4. Add cardamom powder to the payasam once it is done and turn off the stove.
