
Ingredients:
• For the White Sauce:
• 5 tbsp – Butter
• 5 tbsp – flour
• 5 cups – Milk
• salt and pepper as per taste
• Others:
• 250 g – macaroni
• 200 g – Corn
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Butter (for greasing the baking dish)
• 5 cubes cheese (grated)
• salt to taste
Method:
- Boil the corn with little salt till tender.
- Boil the macaroni in sufficient water with a tbsp of oil and little salt till done.
- Drain the water and keep aside. Prepare the white sauce.
- Add the macaroni and corn to the white sauce and mix well.
- Grease a baking dish. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish.
- Evenly spread grated cheese on top.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degree C till the cheese turns golden.
- Serve hot with tomato soup and garlic bread.
- For the White Sauce:
- Lightly heat butter in a non-stick pan.
- Add flour and saut1.5 on a low flame till golden.
- Gradually add milk and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
- Cook the sauce on a medium flame, stirring all the time till you get a little thick consistency.
- Remove from fire and add salt and pepper. Keep aside
