Banana Walnut Cake

Ingredients:

• 2 cups – white flour
• 1.5 cups – Sugar
• 1 cup – Butter
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• 1 tsp – baking soda
• 1.5 tbsp – vanilla essence
• 3 tbsp – sour Cream
• 2 eggs
• 6 small Bananas
• 1/2 cup – Walnuts

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mash bananas into a smooth paste and set aside.
  3. Combine rest of the ingredients, except walnuts, and mix into a thick, smooth batter.
  4. Add mashed bananas and walnuts, reserving some. Mix well.
  5. Pour the batter into a prepared baking pan and sprinkle the reserved walnuts on top.
  6. Bake for 90 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Remove and cool.
  8. Transfer the cake to a tray and cut into serving pieces.
