Ingredients:
• 4 ripe Bananas
• 3.5 tbsp – Butter
• 4 tbsp – packed Brown sugar
• 1/4 tsp – Cinnamon powder
• 1/2 tsp – vanilla essence
• 2.5 tbsp – chopped walnuts, toasted on a dry pan
• 3/4 cup – caramel Cream
• To make caramel cream:
• 100 g – Cream
• 1 tbsp – golden syrup
• 1.5 tbsp – Sugar
• 1/4 tsp – vanilla essence
• 1 tbsp – Butter
• A pinch of powdered Cinnamon
Method:
- Peel and slice the bananas diagonally into 1-inch thick slices.
- Melt butter on low heat.
- Add the bananas to the butter for 2-3 minutes or just until warm.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar over them and gently stir until the sugar melts.
- Add the cinnamon and vanilla essence.
- Sprinkle the toasted nuts over it.
- Serve immediately with caramel cream sauce poured over it.
- For caramel cream sauce:
- In a deep pan, pour the cream and whisk in the syrup, the sugar and vanilla essence, boil on medium heat.
- Whisk in the butter, a little at a time.
- Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens (5 minutes).
- Add the cinnamon and cook for another 1-2 minute.
- Serve the sauce warm over the bananas.
