Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – Beef
• 3 – Onions (sliced)
• 1 tbsp each – Ginger Garlic paste
• Paste of 4 Shallots
• 2 – split Green chillies
• 1 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 cup – water
• 1/4 cup – oil
• 2 sprigs – Curry leaves

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker and saute the onions till brown.
  2. Add the pasted ginger, garlic and shallots and saute again till the raw smell disappears.
  3. Lower the flame and add in the powders.
  4. Mix well and add the cleaned beef and salt and saute for a few mins and add some water and pressure cook till done
  5. Once cooked, open the lid and if any excess water is remaining, heat till water disappears.
  6. Fry the beef in the same oil in the cooker itself till the beef is done.
