Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Maida
• 1 tbsp – besan
• 1 – Plantain
• 1 tsp – baking soda
• 2 tbsp – Sugar
• 1 cup – Curd
• 1 tsp – salt
• Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Seive maida and besan.
  2. Mash plantain with curd, salt, sugar and baking soda in a bowl.
  3. Add the flour and little water to make into a soft dough.
  4. Apply a little oil and keep the dough covered for 6 hours.
  5. Shape portions of the dough into lime sized balls and flatten them into thick puris.
  6. Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
  7. Buns can be eaten plain or with any gravy.
