Ingredients:

• 1 tbsp – besan
• 1.5 cup – water
• 8 – Shallots
• 2 – Tomato
• 2 – Green chilli
• 1/2 tsp – oil
• 1/4 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• A Pinch – Turmeric powder
• Salt as needed

Method:

  1. Chop the onions and tomatoes finely.
  2. In a bowl, add the besan and water and mix it nicely without any lumps.
  3. Add salt and turmeric to it.
  4. Heat oil in a kadai and splutter mustard seeds, add the onions and saute till it turns pink.
  5. Add the tomatoes and saute well.
  6. Now add the besan mixture to it.
  7. Keep the flame very low, otherwise it will form lumps.
  8. Stir it nicely till it gets cooked.
  9. The besan will get cooked in 3-5 mins.
  10. Add curry leaves and serve hot.
