Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Wheat flour
• 1 cup – besan (Bengal gram dal powder)
• 2 tsp – sesame
• 2 tsp – Jeera
• 2 tsp – ajwain
• 2 tsp – Curd
• 2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tsp – Coriander leaves
• Pinch of Turmeric
• Salt to taste
• Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Take 1 cup of wheat flour. Add salt as per your requirement.
  2. Add 2 tsp oil and enough water to make a dough as you make for chapattis and keep aside.
  3. Take 1 cup of besan in a bowl. Add sesame, chilli powder, jeera, ajwain, salt, coriander leaves and yogurt.
  4. Mix into a fine powder with very little water if required.
  5. Make small balls of the wheat flour dough. Make them into a cup shape, stuff with the besan filling and seal them.
  6. Roll them into puris.
  7. Fry till brown in colour.
  8. Serve with yogurt or pickle.
