Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Maida
• Salt – as needed
• Milk for kneading – as needed
• 1 tbsp – oil
• For stuffing:
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1 Cup – gram flour/Besan
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – cumin powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• salt to taste
• 1 tbsp – kasuri Methi

Method:

  1. Knead a soft dough with maida, salt and milk
  2. Set the dough aside for one hour.
  3. For stuffing:
  4. In a kadai, heat oil and fry the gram flour for 5 mins on a medium flame.
  5. Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt and kasuri methi and mix well.
  6. To make paratha:
  7. Make small balls of the dough
  8. Roll out into round chapattis
  9. Spread 1/2 tbsp gram flour mixture on the rolled out chapatti and fold in the edges into a round shape.
  10. Roll out dusting with atta or maida.
  11. Heat a tawa. Place the paratha on it and spread some oil and allow it to brown.
  12. Turn over and cook till brown spots appear on the other side also.
  13. Serve hot with sabji.
