Ingredients:

• 250 g – Okra
• 2 tbsp – cooking oil
• 1/2 spoon – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 spoon – Urad Dal
• 1 pinch – Asafoetida
• 1 cup – thick Curd
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• buttermilk
• salt
• Finely chopped coriander.

Method:

  1. Take the curd in a bowl and beat it by adding buttermilk into a fine paste.
  2. Add chilli powder and keep it aside.
  3. Heat pan with the cooking oil and add mustard seeds and urad dal and wait till the seeds splutter and the dal turns light brown.
  4. Add hing and the cut okras and keep stirring till the okras are crisp and fried.
  5. Add salt and let the crisp okras cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Finally mix them with the prepared curd.
  7. You may garnish them with finely chopped coriander leaves.
