Bottle Gourd Salad

Ingredients:

• 2 cups – grated Bottle Gourd (lauki), cooked
• 1/2 cup – savory boondis
• 4 cups – yoghurt, beaten
• 1 tsp – roasted cumin seed, powdered
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – mustard, ground
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Squeeze out water from the cooked lauki.
  2. Mix with yoghurt. Add boondi and mix well.
  3. Add salt and mustard paste. Place in a bowl.
  4. Sprinkle cumin and chilli powder on top and serve chilled.
