Ingredients:

• 1 cup- peel of Bottle Gourd
• 5 or 6 Green chillies
• 3 tsp- moong dal
• 1/2 tsp- Jeera
• Tamarind (lollipop size)- soaked in water
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp- chopped Garlic
• 1 tsp- coriander leaves, chopped
• 1/2 tsp- Turmeric (optional)

Method:

  1. Take peel of bottle gourd and wash it. Dry them on tissue and fry it in two tbsp oil. Add green chillies, moongdal, jeera (cumin).
  2. Fry it for 3 to 4 minutes and grind with soaked tamarind.
  3. Heat two tsp oil in kadai add minced garlic and coriander leaves to it. Add turmeric. Pour over the ground chutney.
  4. This chutney tastes good with rice.
