Ingredients:
• Kofta:
• 4-5 – slices of Bread
• 2 – medium Potatoes
• To taste – salt, garam masala, Lemon juice
• For Gravy:
• 2 – Tomatoes or Tomato puree
• 1 – Onion
• 3-4 – Cloves of garlic,
• 2 – green chillies, small piece of Ginger
• To taste – salt, Turmeric powder, chilli powder, Garam Masala and some heavy Cream (optional)
Method:
- To prepare kofta:
- Boil the potatoes and mash it. Wet the bread slice with some water and mix it with the potatoes. Add salt, garam masala and little lemon juice.
- Shape them into ovals or round shape. Then deep fry it in the oil and keep it aside.
- For gravy:
- Heat some oil in a pan add chopped onion, garlic, green chillies and ginger in the oil, fry it until brown.
- Then add the cut tomato pieces or tomato puree it. Let it cook for a while.
- Then add all masalas with some water and boil the gravy for a while.
- Add the kofta to the gravy 5 minutes before serving. Top with cream
