
Ingredients:
• Bread slices – 3
• Potato – 1
• Salt to taste
• Green chillies – 2
• Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• For curry:
• Tomatoes – 4
• Onion – 1
• Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Coriander leaves
• Yogurt – 1 tbsp
• Oil – 3 tbsps
• For Grinding:
• Onion – 2 tbsp
• Garlic – 3 flakes
• Ginger – small piece
• Garam Masala powder – 1 tsp
Method:
- Pressure cook potato. Peel and mash nicely.
- Soak bread in a little water. Squeeze out water from the slices.
- Then mix mashed potatoes and bread by adding salt, green chillies and chilli powder.
- Heat oil in a pan. Make small balls from the prepared bread and mashed potato dough.
- Flatten a little bit and fry till golden brown.
- For curry:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and fry till translucent.
- Add ground masala and fry til oil separates.
- Add yogurt and fry for a while.
- Add chilli powder and turmeric powder fry for another minute. Then add tomatoes.
- After a while, add about one cup of water and boil till the gravy becomes thick.
- Add prepared koftas just before serving.
- Garnish with finely cut coriander leaves.
