Ingredients:
• Brinjal – 2 medium size
• Onion – 1, chopped fine
• Channa dal – 2 tsp
• Peanuts – few
• Coriander seeds – 1 tsp
• Red Chillies – 1 tsp
• Tamarind juice – 1 tsp
• Jeera – 1 tsp
• Salt – to taste
• Oil – 1 tbsp
Method:
- Take small pieces of brinjal and fry in oil with onions and salt till tender
- Meanwhile, fry channa dal, peanuts, dhania seeds, red chillies, cumin and grind with tamarind juice into a paste and put the paste into the cooked brinjal
- Cook for a few mins
- Serve hot with rice
