Ingredients:
• Tender Brinjals – 3, sliced
• Garlic pods – 1
• Green chillies – As per your taste.
• Tamarind – 1 inch piece
• Tomato – 1 small
• For Seasoning:
• Red Chillies – 2
• Black gram – 1 tsp
• Bengal Gram – 1tsp
• Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Cumin – 1/2 tsp
• Curry leaves – few
• Garlic – half pod crushed
Method:
- In a non stick pan saute brinjals with salt and turmeric and cover with a lid
- Add tomatoes and cook till soft
- Grind garlic cloves, cumin, fried green chillies and tamarind.
- To this add the fried brinjal tomato mixture to it and grind this coarsely
- Splutter black gram, Bengal gram, mustard seeds, cumin and add red chillies, garlic and curry leaves
