• semolina (rava) – 2 cup
• whole Wheat flour – 1 cup
• grated Coconut – 2 cup
• green chilies – 4 to 5, chopped
• Ginger – 1 tsp, minced
• Sugar – 1 to 2 tbsp
• oil or Ghee as needed
• salt to taste

  1. Combine all the ingredients together.
  2. Add enough water to form a semi solid, paste like dough.
  3. Keep covered for about ½ hour.
  4. Heat a dosa tawa( preferably non-stick).
  5. Lower the flame.
  6. Dip your hand in a bowl of water and lift out a handful of dough.
  7. Drop it on the tawa, and with moist fingers, flatten the dough to about 1 cm thick disc (your fingers must touch only the dough and not the tawa).
  8. Pour some oil or ghee all round it and cook on mode heat.
  9. When the underside is cooked, turn the bhakri over.
  10. Now add some more ghee or oil and cook the other side.
  11. Serve hot or cold with a blob of butter.
