Ingredients:
• 1 whole Chicken
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 1 onion, thinly sliced
• 1/4 tsp – freshly ground black pepper
• 1 tbsp – crushed Garlic
• 1/2 tbsp – Tomato puree
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – curry powder
• 1/4 tsp – salt
• 4 tbsp – water
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 C.
- Place the chicken in a covered baking dish or casserole with 1/2 tsp salt and olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- Add the onion, pepper, garlic, tomato puree, garam masala, curry powder and 1/4 tsp salt.
- Mix all together, then add water for the ingredients to cook.
- Return to the oven for 5 more minutes to blend all the flavours.
- Serve with rice, naan or roti.
