Ingredients:

• 1 – Cabbage
• 1/2 cup – grated Coconut
• 3 – chillies
• 1 tsp – cumin
• 1 cup – Toor Dal
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – vegetable oil
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• A few – Curry leaves
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Finely cut the cabbage
  2. Grind the grated coconut, chillies, cumin
  3. Cook the cabbage, adding a little water, salt and turmeric powder.
  4. When the cabbage is partly cooked, add the ground coconut mixture to it and cook it further.
  5. Meanwhile, pressure cook the toor dal.
  6. When the dal is ready, add it to the cabbage gravy.
  7. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard
  8. Add urad dal and curry leaves into it and add it to the gravy.
  9. Serve with rice
