Ingredients:

• Channa dal – 2 cup
• Sugar – 1.5 cup
• Ghee – 1/2 cup
• Cardamom – 5
• Dry fruits – 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Soak channa dal for four hours
  2. Grind the dal coarsely without adding water and cook the ground dal
  3. Heat a vessel, pour ghee and fry the dry fruits and keep aside
  4. In the remaining ghee mash the boiled dal and cook for 10 mins
  5. Now add the sugar and cook for another 10 mins stirring occasionally.
  6. Finally add the cardamom powder and dry fruits
