Ingredients:

• 1.5 litre – Milk
• 1 cup – Coconut powder
• 1/2 cup – sooji
• 1 cup – khoya
• 1/2 cup – chopped dry fruits (cashew nuts, almonds, raisins)
• 1/2 tsp – green Cardamom powder
• 250g – Sugar
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• A pinch of Saffron

Method:

  1. Boil milk till it reduces to half. Add sugar and stir. Keep it aside.
  2. Put ghee in a kadai, add the sooji and saute till it turns brown.
  3. Add coconut powder and khoya and stir.
  4. Add 1 cup of milk and sugar.
  5. Keep stirring the mixture till it thickens enough to make laddoos.
  6. Add the chopped dry fruits.
  7. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  8. Make laddoos with the mixture and place those in the milk.
  9. Boil the whole mixture for 5 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle green cardamom powder and saffron.
  11. Allow to cool.
