Ingredients:

• 3/4 cup – Crumbled soft Paneer
• 1/2 tsp – Salt
• 1/2 tsp – Baking powder
• 1 cup – Plain flour
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1/8 tsp – Nutmeg powder
• 1/8 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 1 – egg, lightly beaten
• 3/4 – Sugar
• 5 tbsp – Butter, softened
• 1/4 cup – Crushed Almonds

Method:

  1. Beat butter and sugar, till light and fluffy. Add egg and lemon juice, beat well. Add flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cardamom
  2. Add paneer and beat till it is blended properly
  3. Add almond, mix it well
  4. Form small flattish rounds
  5. Preheat oven
  6. Place these flat biscuits on a baking sheet
  7. Give them space as the biscuits will expand while baking.
  8. Bake at 150 degree Celsius for 15 minutes or till light brown
  9. Cool well before removing. Store in airtight jars
