Ingredients:
• 3/4 cup – Crumbled soft Paneer
• 1/2 tsp – Salt
• 1/2 tsp – Baking powder
• 1 cup – Plain flour
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1/8 tsp – Nutmeg powder
• 1/8 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 1 – egg, lightly beaten
• 3/4 – Sugar
• 5 tbsp – Butter, softened
• 1/4 cup – Crushed Almonds
Method:
- Beat butter and sugar, till light and fluffy. Add egg and lemon juice, beat well. Add flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cardamom
- Add paneer and beat till it is blended properly
- Add almond, mix it well
- Form small flattish rounds
- Preheat oven
- Place these flat biscuits on a baking sheet
- Give them space as the biscuits will expand while baking.
- Bake at 150 degree Celsius for 15 minutes or till light brown
- Cool well before removing. Store in airtight jars
