Ingredients:
• 1 bunch – red radishes (chopped)
• 1 head – Lettuce
• 2 tbsp – mayonnaise
• salt and pepper to taste
• 4 – peeled Tomatoes (halved)
• 2 – thick cheese (diced)
• 1 – small Onion (chopped)
• 1/4 cup – French dressing To prepare French dressing:
• 1/2 cup – oil
• 1/2 tsp – fresh ground Ginger
• 2 tbsp – mild Vinegar
• 1 tsp – salt1/2 – Clove Garlic
Method:
- To prepare the French dressing:
- Mix all the ingredients in a bottle or jar with a cover.
- Screw the cover on tightly. When ready to serve, remove the garlic, and shake hard to blend.
- Do not leave the garlic for more than a day.
- If the vinegar is shark, add a trace of sugar. Makes 1/2 cup.
- Combine radishes with mayonnaise, salt and pepper,
- Line a salad bowl with lettuce and place the radish mixture in the centre.
- Surround this with halved tomatoes, covered with the mixture of cheese and onion.
- Pour the French dressing over the tomatoes. Chill and serve.
