Ingredients:
• 2 lbs – Chicken pieces
• 2 – Onions
• 1/2 cup – chopped Tomatoes
• 1.5 tbsp – Garlic and Ginger paste
• 1 tbsp – Khus Khus
• 1 tbsp – white sesame seeds
• 4 tbsp – Coconut desiccated
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• chilli powder
• Garam Masala powder
• salt to taste
Method:
- Marinate the chicken pieces in 1 tbsp garlic and ginger and 1 tsp of turmeric powder for 1/2 to 1 hour.
- Dry fry khus khus, sesame seeds and coconut until brown.
- Heat little oil and fry sliced onions until brown.
- Grind the browned onions and khus khus mixture. Set aside.
- In a big vessel, heat oil and add chopped onions and fry. Add 1/2 tsp ginger and garlic paste and fry
- Now add chilli powder according to your taste and fry.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and fry until oil separates.
- Add the chicken pieces and mix , add lot of water and allow to boil.
- Now add the ground khus-khus paste, salt and garam masala powder. Cover and cook until done.
- Serve hot with rice or rotis.
