Ingredients:
• 1 can (155oz)- GOYA brand kidney beans (Rajma)
• 1 can (155oz)- Diced Tomatoes (any brand)
• 1 packet- McCormick Chilli seasoning
• 1 tsp- Jeera
• 1 tsp- Rayee (aawaalu)
• 1 tsp- Salt
• 1- large Onion
• 1 Lime
• coriander to garnish
Method:
- Dice onions finely. Take a wide, but shallow nonstick casserole, and add about 5 tbsp of oil.
- When the oil is hot, add jeera and rayee, and when they start popping, add the onions.
- When the onions are a little cooked, add the can of diced tomatoes and kidney beans.
- Put a lid on the casserole and let them cook for about 15 minutes.
- Add fresh lime juice, the McCormick Chilli seasoning (probably half a packet), and salt.
- Stir thoroughly with a wooden spoon and taste.
- It is ready. If you want, you can add salt, seasoning with coriander leaves, or lime according to your preference.
