Tender Chicken cooked with vegetables in spicy gravy

Ingredients:
For Chicken Marinate
3 cups (600 gm) skinless and boneless chicken breast halves
1 teaspoon garlic paste
2 teaspoon red chilli paste
1 egg
1 tablespoon soya sauce
1 tablespoon cornflour (dissolved in 2 tablespoon water)
Salt and pepper to taste

For Gravy
5-6 chopped green chilies
2 chopped spring onions
2 cups chicken broth
1 tablespoon soya sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon red chilli sauce
1 tablespoon cornflour (dissolved in 2 tablespoon water)
1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder
1 teaspoon sugar
Pinch ajinomotto
1 tablespoon oil
Oil to fry
Salt to taste

Method:
1. Cut the chicken into rectangular strips.
2. Make a mixture of soya sauce, red chilli paste, cornflour, salt, pepper, egg in a bowl and marinate chicken pieces in the mixture for 20 minutes.
3. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the marinated chicken pieces until golden brown. Keep aside.
4. Heat oil in a separate kadhai or pan, add garlic paste, green chilies, 1 tablespoon spring onions and saute for a minute.
5. Add chicken broth or water. Bring to boil, add sugar, pepper powder, salt, ajinomotto, soya sauce, red chilli sauce and vinegar.
6. Add fried chicken pieces to it and cook for few minutes.
7. Add the remaining cornflour dissolved in water and add into the pan stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
8. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
9. Serve hot garnished with the remaining chopped spring onions.
