Ingredients:
• 200 g – Refined flour or Maida
• 2 – eggs
• 200 g – powdered Sugar
• 200 g – Butter
• a pinch of salt
• 2 tsp – vanilla essence
• 2 tbsp – broken Cashew nuts or Walnuts
Method:
- Beat the butter, sugar, eggs, salt, cocoa powder and vanilla essence together until it becomes creamy.
- Add the flour and mix well. If the mixture is too thick, add a little milk.
- Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured cake tin.
- Sprinkle the broken cashews or walnuts on top.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes in a moderately hot oven. The top should be brown and crisp.
