Ingredients:

• 1.5 cups – All-purpose flour
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – Soda-bicarbonate
• 1/3 cup – Butter
• Chocolate chips – to taste
• 50 gms – Peanuts (unsalted but roasted)
• 2 – eggs

Method:

  1. Combine the eggs and sugar in a bowl and beat until the mixture is a pale brown.
  2. Sift the flour and soda bicarbonate.
  3. Add to the egg sugar mixture and mix it well.
  4. Add butter, peanuts and chocolate chips to it and blend well.
  5. Scoop out the mixture with a spoon and roll it into a ball.
  6. Place on a greased tray at least 5 cms apart.
  7. Flatten the balls with your hands to shape it.
  8. Preheat the oven at 200 degree C.
  9. Bake the cookies at 200 degree C for 10-15 minutes, until a light brown.
  10. Place on wire rack to cool for 5 minutes.
  11. Serve cold.
