Ingredients:

• 3 cup – cooked medium grain Rice (basmati or sona masoori)
• 3 cup – Milk
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1/4 cup – Butter
• 2 – Cinnamon sticks
• 1 tsp – vanilla extract
• Ground Cinnamon powder
• berries and whipped Cream (optional)

Method:

  1. Combine rice, milk, sugar, butter, cinnamon sticks and vanilla in a 2-quart saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat until thick and creamy, 20 to 25 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Remove from heat; remove cinnamon sticks and top with whipped cream and fresh assorted berries, if desired.
  4. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
