Ingredients:
• 2 cup – Rice
• 1 cup – grated Coconut
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal powder
Method:
- Soak the rice in water for about 30 mins.
- Wash, drain and spread in a towel for 10 mins.
- Grind rice in a mixer and strain it twice in a sieve and keep aside.
- The flour should be a little coarse.
- Roast urad dal and powder it.
- Mix both the flours and sieve.
- Add grated coconut and salt and mix well.
- Now knead a little and make small balls of mixture and keep it aside in a plate.
- Heat oil in a pan, and deep fry the seedai till it becomes golden colour.
