Ingredients:
• 3 – Brinjal
• 3 – Onion
• 3 – Tomato
• 6 tsp – Tamarind juice thick
• A pinch Turmeric
• Salt to taste
• 2 tsp – oil
• For garnish : 1/2 tsp – mustard
• 1/2 tsp – Methi seeds
• A little oil
• To grind:
• 6 – small Onion
• 2 tsp – Coconut
• 4 – Cloves Garlic
• 6 – Red Chilli
• 1 tsp – Coriander seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 tsp – dal or Channa dal
• 1 small bunch – Coriander
Method:
- Fry all the ingredients to be ground and make a smooth paste.
- Heat oil, add mustard and methi seeds. Add brinjal, tomato and onion and fry a little
- Add tamarind paste, salt, and turmeric
- Add 2 cups of water and allow to boil for 10 mins.
- Add the paste and cook on sim for 5 – 7 mins
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
