Ingredients:

• 1 can – chickpeas, 19 oz.
• 1 – big Tomato
• 1 – big Onion
• Green chillies – 4
• 1 tsp – Tamarind juice
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• Red pepper powder, according to your taste
• Salt and a little Jaggery or Sugar
• Coriander for garnish

Method:

  1. Chop the onions, tomatoes, green chillies and coriander very finely.
  2. Mix all except the coriander with the drained out chickpeas.
  3. Add jaggery dissolved in tamarind water or sugar.
  4. Garnish with coriander
  5. Serve chilled
