Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – colocasia
• 2 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 tsp – all spice powder/garam masala powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 3 tbsp – Tamarind juice or Lemon juice
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 3 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Clean and cut colossi into bite size pieces
  2. Marinate the pieces with all the ingredients (except oil) and keep it aside for about 1 hour.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add the marinated colossi
  4. Add 1 cup of water and cook covered over low heat till cooked.
  5. Serve as a side dish.
