Ingredients:

• 75 gms – grated Coconut
• 1 cup – boiled Corn
• 1 cup – groundnuts
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 4 – green chillies, chopped finely
• A few sprigs – Curry leaves
• 150 gms – thin poha, washed and drained
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1 tbsp – coriander leaves, chopped, for garnishing
• salt and Sugar – to taste

Method:

  1. Put oil in a casserole. Microwave ‘High’ for a minute.
  2. Add cumin seeds and microwave on ‘High’ for one minute.
  3. Add green chillies, curry leaves and groundnuts.
  4. Microwave on ‘High’ for three minutes.
  5. Mix corn, poha, coconut, and the remaining spices in a plate.
  6. Add to the casserole and mix well. Sprinkle 30 ml of water.
  7. Cover and microwave on ‘High’ for three minutes to make the chivda very hot.
  8. Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve hot.
