• ½ packet flakey pastry
• ½ cup flour
• 1 cup chopped vegetables
• 1 bunch spinach, chopped
• ½ onion, chopped
• 2 flakes garlic, chopped
• 2 ½ cups flaked boiled fish
• 2 tbsp. thick white sauce
• 1 tsp. dry or fresh herbs
• 1 tbsp. Butter
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 Egg beaten with 2 tbsp. of Milk


  1. Dust the table with flour and roll the pastry into a sheet.
  2. On a baking tray, apply butter, dust with flour and carefully transfer the pastry sheet on to the tray.
  3. In a frying pan, put the butter and sauté the onions, garlic, spinach and vegetables for 10 mins. Now add the fish and lightly toss them together.
  4. Season with salt and pepper. Toss in the herbs along with the white sauce.
  5. Remove the mixture from the fire and stuff into the pastry.
  6. Brush the pastry with egg wash on the inside edges, wrap round the mixture, seal it well and then brush the outside with egg wash.
  7. Bake in a hot oven for 10 to 12 minutes, remove and serve hot carefully slicing with a sharp knife.
