Ingredients:
• 4-5 – Burger buns/Pav
• 2 cups – Boiled and mashed Potatoes
• 1/2 – Onion chopped
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/2 tsp + 1/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – dry Mango powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 sprigs – Coriander leaves
• 1/4 cup – skinless Peanuts
• 1/2 cup – Nylon sev
Method:
- Prepare a mixture of water, garam masala, turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, dry mango powder in a bowl.
- In a pan, add 2 tsp oil and when hot, add cumin seeds. As they splutter add the prepared mixture to it.
- As it cooks, add mashed potatoes and mix well.
- Let the spices get incorporated and then add salt to taste.
- Add cilantro and mix again.
- Fry skinned peanuts in 1 tsp oil for some time and add salt and 1/4 tsp red chilli powder to it.
- Cut one burger bun in half.
- Add potato mixture.
- Then top with roasted peanuts.
- Now add nylon sev on top
- Dabeli filling is complete now.
- In a pan add butter and place the stuffed burger.
- Once golden on one side flip slowly and cook other side.
- Dabeli is ready to serve.
- Add any chutneys you like and serve.
