Ingredients:

• 2 cups – peas
• 1 – Onion
• 1/2 – Tomato
• 3 sprigs – coriander
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 3 tsp – chaat masala
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/2 tsp – Tamarind paste
• 1 tsp – Jaggery
• 2 tbsp – curds
• Salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Add half a cup of water to the tamarind paste and boil with jaggery, salt and all the dry masalas.
  2. Add the peas and cook till the peas blend well with the masalas.
  3. Save a little of the onions and tomatoes for garnishing and add the rest to the peas.
  4. Boil for a minute.
  5. Meanwhile, beat the curd, transfer peas into a separate plate.
  6. Pour a couple of spoons of curd on the peas and sprinkle some chaat masala and garnish with chopped onions, tomatoes and coriander.
  7. Serve.
