Ingredients:

• 150 g – Channa dal
• 150 g – moong dal
• 2-3 – Potatoes
• 2 – Onions
• 3-4 tsp – gram flour
• 150 g – Cottage cheese
• Mashed bread crumbs for coating
• Few Spinach leaves
• Red pepper to taste
• Oil for deep frying
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Soak the dals overnight, drain in the morning.
  2. Peel and grate the potatoes. Mix all the ingredients.
  3. Divide the mixture in small balls and give them a shape you like.
  4. Coat them in the bread crumbs.
  5. Heat the oil. Deep fry all the patties.
  6. Serve hot with coriander and mint chutney.
